MAINTENANCE US 212 Beef Corporation is a beef processing-cattle handling facility with its primary business of cattle butchering and sale of meat and .S. 212 Beef associated cattle animal products. The manufacturing process utilizes elect-mechanical equipment, chains, sprocket drives, cogs, wheels, conveyors, actuators, and such to move the product through the production facility. The applicant selected for this position will report to the engineering manager and have mechanical skill in the service, repair, specification of systems as well as a thorough understanding of rudimentary mechanical devices and mechanisms. They will also plan and coordinate schedule of preventative maintenance for equipment, machinery, tools, or buildings by performing the following duties: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Facilitate the repair, servicing, troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Assist other engineering personnel in the repair, servicing, troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Reviews manufacturers' service manuals, own establishments usage schedules, and records of maintenance problems to determine optimum frequency of preventative maintenance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 1-2 years previous mechanical and related experience is required. Problem solving- identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail, Bilingual helpful. Ability to multi-task and work with other departments to achieve goals. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years of age or older High School diploma · Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos · Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form COMPANY BENEFITS: Hourly FT Non Exempt 100% employer paid medical coverage for employee PTO accrues at day one Paid holidays Pay DOE but can be up to $35.00 per hour.
