UTCHINSON MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II UTILITIES Hutchinson Utilities Commission (HUC) is seeking qualified applicants for a Maintenance Mechanic II for our municipally owned utility. The position repairs/maintains all turbines and reciprocating engines, cuts/installs piping, assists with cleaning and repairs of boilers and other related equipment, replaces/repairs valves, performs incidental building maintenance and cleaning, performs station inspections, follows safety rules/regulations and attends trainings. Preferred applicants have a two-year degree in power plant maintenance technician degree or in a relevant mechanical/technical field and 2-4 years related experience and relevant work experience with an electric utility or related industry.
