The Willmar Fire Department was established in 1879 as a Paid-on-Call department which means our firefighters are "on call" 24 hours a day and respond to an average of 325 calls per year.
We provide a variety of services including fire suppression, hazardous materials assistance, various types of technical rescue and public education. Our primary response area includes the City of Willmar, Willmar Township and a small portion of Dovre Township.
